Personal Diary : How To Appreciate What You Have & Stop Comparing Yourself To Others


So many of us are more stressed and spend less time doing enjoyable activities. We decrease happiness just because wanting more : more money, more shining jewerly, more things. If you want to start learning to appreciate what you have and stop wanting more, appreciate your life a little more with appreciate what you have by giving more.




It's so easy to appreciate the big stuff : new car, new jewerly, new job etc. But it takes a little effort to notice all the tiny things : a warm cup of coffee, the sound of the rain, the smell of chocolate cookies you baking in your house, the shiny sunshine or even a new white t-shirt from H&M.


If you want to sleep well, go to bed filled with gratitude, put your mind in positive mood. I know sometimes we let a simple thing like a friend's annoying comment bother us. We can't let other people's reactions control our own. So when things don't go right, stop looking outside for blame.
